Accessibility
KW Lawn Mowing wants our website to work for everyone, including people using screen readers or other assistive technology. This page explains the standard we build to and how to reach us if something isn’t working for you.
It’s one of our policies pages.
Our standard
We build kwlawnmowing.com to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA. We do this because it’s the right thing to do for our customers, not because the law requires it at our size. Under Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), a website meeting WCAG 2.0 AA becomes a legal requirement only for organizations with 50 or more employees, and KW Lawn Mowing is well under that.
We are not claiming our site is “AODA-compliant.” There’s no such certification: AODA compliance is self-assessed, not awarded by anyone. We’re simply telling you plainly what standard we aim for.
Feedback
If anything on our site is hard to use, tell us. Every business, regardless of size, is required to have a way to receive and respond to accessibility feedback, and we want to hear it either way.
