Snow under 5 cm
No visit below the trigger. A Winter Plan still covers ice control on those days.
Winter plan questions
- Cancel any time with 14 days’ notice.
- Pay only for clearings done. A prepaid season is refunded for the unused portion.
- Ontario’s 10-day cooling-off period applies to a plan sign-up.
- No auto-renewal, and nothing added mid-season without asking.
What counts as a snowfall that triggers a visit?
5 cm or more. Under that we don’t come, and per-visit customers aren’t charged. A Winter Plan also covers ice control after freezing rain or a light dusting.
What’s the difference between Standard, Complete and Priority?
They all clear the same four things. Complete adds your choice of salt and is usually done within 8 hours instead of 12. Priority adds first place on the route, usually done within 3 hours of the snow stopping.
Can I pay for a Winter Plan monthly?
Yes. Season plans can be split into equal monthly payments, the first when you sign up and the last by the end of March. Sign up from April to November for 5 payments, in December for 4, in January for 3, in February for 2. From March, season plans are pay once. Each payment shows its HST on its own line.
Does a plan renew by itself next winter?
No. We never auto-renew a plan or add anything mid-season without asking you first.
Can I cancel a Winter Plan?
Any time, with 14 days’ notice. You only pay for clearings completed, and a prepaid season is refunded for the unused portion. Ontario also gives you a 10-day cooling-off period on a plan sign-up. The details are in our refund and cancellation policy.
